After seeing Dallas' story on the Today Show, my husband, mother and I became convinced that we could not pass on the opportunity to bank our baby's cord blood with the Cord Blood Registry. The decision was not based so much on the fact that today, stem cells are used to treat over 70 diseases; but more so on the fact that we would be saving a key component to potential future medical cures and treatments. We viewed it as an added insurance policy for the health of our baby! We also rest easier knowing that should we ever need it, we stored with CBR.
